There are generally two scenarios when it comes to developing your retirement income strategy:
Scenario 1.
You can hire an advisor.
While an advisor can be a great solution for many (we know, we are advisors). We have come to realize that some individuals prefer to do it themselves or at the very least use an advisor as a starting point.
Well, consider our live workshop series as that great starting point. With our workshop material, calculators, checklists, templates, and office hours, there are great opportunity for personal interactions that will give you the starting nudge you need.
If you are good to go from there, great. We designed these workshops for this. They are our playbook.
If you find that there are other things you want to concentrate on in retirement, you know where to reach us
Scenario 2.
You can do it yourself.
There is plenty of material in the ol’ world wide web to keep you busy for a few years. We have about 330 retirement income planning articles (is this the right number?) on our site alone. Knock yourself out.
You just need to ask yourself if it is worth your time to find, curate, synthesize, and apply all the material to fit your situation and don’t forget—on an ongoing basis. I think you’ll agree, our live workshop series provides a more effective solution.
You have nothing to lose and everything to gain.
Absolutely. We designed this series of workshops for people like you. Individuals who are about 7 years from retirement or already into their retirement.
It is important to remember that your retirement is not some point in time.
It is a process and as long as you are retired, you will benefit from the information and practical guidelines inside the materials.
If these workshops sound like a beast, it might just be because you feel overwhelmed in your retirement income plan, and you’re trying to imagine how you’ll add this program to your existing “to-do” list.
Preparing For Your Best Retirement is the antidote to overwhelm. It’s designed to give you focus and clarity on your vision in retirement. It will help you align your actions, so you can see the BIG PICTURE of where you are headed.
Also, the recordings of these workshops will be available to you for a full year. So, while there might be a lot of ground to cover in the workshops, you'll be able to refer back to them at your leisure and make sure that you take away everything you need and begin to see a whole new level of growth and progress in your retirement income plan.
There are always things you can be doing before actually getting started. No one ever has all their proverbial ducks in a row. That’s OK. The key is Progress NOT Perfection.
Our workshops are designed so that each session will build on the previous material to ensure the continual progression of your retirement income plan.
No. This isn’t a do it yourself course where we hand you a text book and then tell you to figure it out for yourself. We are there to help guide you along the way. We will be running private office hours sessions after each workshop to make sure you can quickly and easily get answers to your questions - plus, we are always available through email so you can reach out to us with any concerns.
Plus, with our blueprints and execution plans, we already did the math and other heavy lifting for you. Your job is to enjoy your retirement not be an excel wiz.
Once you enroll in the Preparing For Your Best Retirement Workshop Series, you will receive two emails. The first will be your receipt, and the second will include login instructions for the workshops series' site. It is important to note that because this is a series of live workshops there will not be any material available on the site until the start of the first workshop on November 12th.
Once the workshops have started, the series website is where you will be able to participate in the workshops, view recordings of the workshops and office hour sessions, and download the bonus material.
The Preparing For Your Best Retirement workshop series is comprised of four live, online, workshops. Each of the workshops will be two days long. These workshops will be delivered entirely online, and will be recorded so that you can refer back to them at your convenience (or when you need to refresh your memory on a specific topic.)
When you register for the workshop series, you will receive login instructions for the site where you will be able to participate in the workshops, as well as where you will be able to access the bonuses from the workshops, as well as the recordings of the workshops (once they are available.)
The Live Private Office Hour Sessions will be held the week after each workshop to allow everyone who was not able to attend the workshop the chance to view the recording. The Office Hour session will be conducted usig GoToWebinar, and the recordings of the sessions will be available on the workshop series site.
Because these sessions will be open to all of the workshop participants we cannot answer questions about your specific situation, but we will be able to discuss how the material covered works in practice, and help you understand how you can apply what you have learned.
There will be a number of instructors that will be involved in this series of workshops. Each instructor The instructors will include, but are not limited to:
The 4 workshops and bonuses will be delivered over the next 4 months. Each month we will conduct one, live, two day, workshop. The first workshop, Investing for Retirement and Developing an Investment Plan, will be on Tuesday, November 12th, and Wednesday, November 13th.
Each day will be roughly 4-5 hours long, so each workshop will be approximately 8-10 hours of instruction. The entire series will be between 30-40 hours of material, plus the live, private office hour sessions.
While we are conducting one live workshop per month, the recordings of these workshops will be available to you, so you will be able to work at your own pace.
Beyond the instructional videos, you will have access to our private office hours session the week after each workshop to review the material for the week and answer any questions that you might have about the material.
That's not a problem. We will be recording all of the workshop sessions, so you will be able to go back and watch any sessions that you might have missed (as well as just refresh your memory on a topic when necessary).
These recordings will be available as soon as possible after the workshop completes, so you'll have time to watch the recordings before the office hour session the following week. And we're always available over email to answer any questions that pop up outside of the office hour session.
We will have one live workshop a month for the next four months. After that, you will have ongoing access to the recordings of the workshops, handouts and other bonuses, and the recordings of the office hour sessions for a full year so that you can repeat and re-live the training whenever you like for a full year.
They will not work for someone who isn’t willing to accept what the data tells us and wants to stick with preconceived notions about how to plan for retirement.
It also won’t work for people who are looking to get rich quick. There are no shortcuts to a successful retirement.
These workshops will help you determine if your advisor is recommending sound retirement income concepts.
They will also help you determine if it is being implemented in a prudent manner.
Think of them as a second opinion that can provide you the peace of mind to let you know you are on the correct path.
Great, but you may also want to also think of it this way: you insure your house. So why not consider a second opinion on your retirement income strategy. What is the cost of being wrong?
